At Swifty Designs, we believe art shouldn’t be confined to a frame. Driven by curiosity and a family legacy of dedication, I translate the wonder of the natural world and human experience into original abstract and nature-inspired art- creating pieces that are both informative and aesthetic. These visions come to life through handcrafted jewelry and professional heat-press techniques that create vibrant prints of my original work onto apparel and other functional items.

The Journey: Observation & Perspective

My creative perspective was forged in my family’s flower shop and on fishing excursions along the coast, where I developed an early appreciation for the intricate forms of the natural world. This foundation led me to a passion for scientific illustration, specializing in the close observation of flora and fauna.

To me, nature is a masterclass in both simplicity and complexity. It has served as a vital reference point for healing and understanding throughout my life. Through my work, I aim to highlight the amazing designs of nature- both big and small- and explore how the stories of living things in nature overlap with the human story. By working in the space between scientific observation and emotional abstraction, I use layers of painting, photography, and collage to translate the patterns of the wild into modern, wearable art.
